Best of the lot!

A RECORD 650 guests attended the Daily Echo-backed Dorset Business Awards last night, where the short-listed businesses finally found out who had been triumphant.

Hosted by the BBC's Sally Taylor at the Bournemouth International Centre, a total of 11 awards were presented at the gala dinner to successful, entrepreneurial and fast-rising organisations from across the region.

The event was organised by Dorset Business (the Chamber of Commerce & Industry).

Chief executive of Dorset Business Peter Scott said: "We have been absolutely delighted with the response to the Dorset Business Awards 2007, and we congratulate all our winners and finalists.
