A taste of Italy has been saved in Bournemouth.
When the former Massimos Italian restaurant at 14 Poole Hill was put on the market, Tina Archer stepped in.
Having regularly visited the town over the past 10 years, she fancied the idea of running her own restaurant and purchased the premises.
Relocating from Liverpool she has since refurbished it at a cost of £70,000, and to reflect her decision to maintain the Italian theme, she has renamed it Mamma Mia.
“There is more opportunity here and it is more sheltered from recession compared with Liverpool,” said Tina.
The restaurant now employs 10 staff.
