Sound investment at radio Hope FM

THE chief executive of Dorset Business is taking to the airwaves.

Every Wednesday between noon and 2pm, the area’s newest disc jockey, Peter Scott, is presenting his Scott Free programme on Hope FM, the local radio station.

His two-hour slot will look at what is happening in business across Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset while also including music from the 1960s to today.

Broadcast on 90.1 FM in and around Bournemouth, Hope FM provides a voice to community groups, charities, churches, the borough councils and to business.

It plays a blend of musical genres from alternative to classical, contemporary Christian to hip-hop and smooth jazz.

Hope FM has hosted and helped train 38 work experience candidates from local schools, Bournemouth and Poole College and Bournemouth University.

It also provides radio training for the community, and to date has introduced 42 new recruits into the world of radio broadcasting.
