Dorset Business welcomes 1,000th member

SYNERGY Housing Group in Poole has become the 1,000th member of Dorset Business (the Chamber of Commerce & Industry).

The business, which is based at Link House in West Street, owns and manages 9,000 homes, making it one of the largest social housing companies based in Dorset and working across the Dorset, Hampshire and Wiltshire counties.

Amanda Williams, director of business development, said: “We decided to join in order to widen our network of business contacts in Dorset and to maximise opportunities for us to work in partnership with other local employers.

“As one of the largest registered social landlords in Dorset, we want to explore ways of working with other Dorset businesses to provide more, much-needed affordable housing, and to find ways in which our customers can benefit from services that other Dorset Business members provide.”
