JMC (J Motor Components Ltd) in Vantage Way, Mannings Heath, Poole is celebrating its 60th year of trading.

The company, which sells MOT failure products such as brakes, service parts and transmission, is owned by John Cavill.

It employs 47 staff across five sites in Poole, New Milton, Bridport, Weymouth and the Isle of Wight and has 500 customers across the South of England, mainly in Dorset and Hampshire.

The business was established by Mr Cavill’s father in 1950. Among other products, it distributes the Denso range of sparkplugs.
