Saab sale good news for Dorset's Seward

Seward, the Dorset car dealership, has welcomed the £47.5m sale of Saab to Spyker, the Dutch supercar manufacturer.

Steve Lill, Seward sales manager, says that while “it’s business as usual” for the dealer and its customers, it will help it to further develop its existing Saab franchise.

“It means we can continue to offer a wide choice of Saabs long-term into the future,” Mr Lill said.

“We always have about 25 used Saabs for sale and new cars can be ordered as normal production continues.”

Seward has an annual turnover of £65m and has the local franchises for Vauxhall, Saab, Chevrolet, Hyundai and MG.
