BARCLAYS Commercial Bank has appointed Ian Bain as head of region for the Dorset and Solent area. Mr Bain will lead a team of 50 supported by Barclays commercial directors Gary Chugg and Mark Stuckey.

He has joined Barclays from RBS in Gatwick, where he undertook a similar role. Mr Bain brings 25 years’ experience working in the commercial market and has operated at senior management level for the last four years.
