Rachel’s PR role McKenna Townsend PR, the public relations agency in Ringwood, has recruited Rachel Hadfield as an account manager. She has seven years’ experience in the industry.

Castlepoint Bill Bill Riddle has been appointed as operations manager at Castlepoint, the Bournemouth shopping park. He will assist general manager Peter Matthews.

Mr Riddle joined Marks & Spencer as a management trainee in 1976 and he became head of retail operations for Dorset in 1993.

“Bill has a tremendous wealth of experience and enthusiasm for development of retailing that will be appreciated by both tenants and consumers,” said Mr Matthews.

Maria on board SCA Group, the not-for-profit health and social care provider in the New Forest, has appointed Maria Mills as its new chief executive.

She will replace current chief executive and founder the Rev Brian Strevens in August.

Mr Strevens will stay on as executive president on a part-time basis.

SCA Group, founded in 1991, provides day care, domiciliary care, advocacy, community transport, rehabilitation care, health and social care training, NHS dentistry and social enterprise consultancy across the New Forest, Poole, Southampton and East Hampshire.

It also runs the Fenwick2 health and well-being centre in Lyndhurst and Wessex Care Decisions advocacy and support service. It has a turnover of £10 million.

Jim’s uni HR post Jim Andrews has been hired as the director of human resources at Bournemouth University.

He succeeds Michael Riordan who has retired after 20 years of service to BU.

Mr Andrews has worked for NHS organisations for 11 years and most recently he was executive director for strategy and organisational development for an NHS Foundation Trust.

Duo join MM Marketing Matters, the Poole-based creative agency, has appointed Jenny Pearce and Nathan Kleyn.

Chelsea-crazy Jenny, 26, joins as senior PR account executive while Nathan, 19, an Australian has been hired as web developer.
